XP3.1 Standard Firmware Update

The new control algorithm in this Software/Firmware version gives you more flexible control for more sensitive helicopter response in Auto-Mode. It has stronger brake by giving an opposite speed command to current heli speed direction, and the helicopter responses with smoother motions during control mode switchings.

The new configuration software coming with is version 1.4.3. Setting adjustments will be slightly different in this new version .

NOTE: The configuration files you saved under old version software 1.3.3 or 1.2.2 will not be compatible.

Failsafe and -Go Home -

The new feature in this version aims to auto-navigate the helicopter back to a pre-set home location when R/C TX signal is totally lost. Please refer to "XP3.1 Users' Manual” for home location setting, This feature will be equipped in all new XP3.1 Standard Kits, Ver.C,

XP3.1 Waypoint launched

XP3.1 WayPoint is the new range of the flight control system with Ground Station software that enables 3-D map way points editing, flight path planning and real-time flight attitude feedback. This product is specially designed for the purpose of advanced Unmanned-Helicopter operation, BVR (Beyond Visual Range) flying and applications such as surveillance, aerial photography, etc. Based on the existing XP3.1 Autopilot, XP3.1 WayPoint not only ensures stable performance and safety of the helicopter, easy operation for the pilot, but also allows the helicopter to fly automatically according to the flight path set before or modified during the flying process in the Ground Station software.

Opgrade To Gimbal Support on the XP3.1b Standard

The gyro stable gimbal opgrade to the XP3.1 product, provides a

two-dimensional gyro stable gimbal function. Once you enable this function,

the gimbal will be automatically adjusted by gyro stable algorithm through a

separate servo in both pitch and roll directions. User can also adjust pitch

position manually.

XP3.1 Standard opdate release.
  • Maximum speed is raised to ca. 60 km/h.

  • Forward-backward maximum flight speed is adjustable by user between 30kmh and 60kmh.
  • Acceleration is adjustable.
  • Better position hold in yaw rotation.
  • Better turn co-ordination performance and yaw control.
  • Better performance in GPS lost condition. If GPS signal is lost for more than 10 seconds, the helicopter automatically turns into attitude mode.
  • New High Density Status Display.

Future XP3.1 Standard shipped out to Custormers, will have this new performance opgrade, including the new Air to Ground Status Display.
